Soleful Movement began as a tribute to my many years spent as a dancer and also a way to express myself creatively. It had been over a decade since I stepped foot in a studio or on a stage and a lot had changed in the dance world during that time. Social Media and the internet had transformed the way dancers trained, connected, and saw themselves. While there was more access to inspiration and opportunity, there was also more pressure—pressure to look a certain way, to fit an ideal, to constantly be “good enough.”

I believe that dance should be for everyone. No matter your body type, background, or experience level, movement is meant to be freeing—not limiting. Every item in the Soleful Movement store is designed to celebrate individuality, self-expression, and the pure joy of dance.
